Sula unarguably is the best thing happening to Nasik Glamour vise. Its added Glamour, Class & Excitement to the otherwise sleepy town.
I wasn’t a very big fan of Sula until I witnessed the 1st SulaFest. I was totally swept of my feet on the Sula Fest in 2008. That was a function to inaugurate their Amphitheatre. Raghu Dixit project performing live. Shair n Func performing live. For the finale some DJ from Dubai playing till the wee hours. (I was there till 3am the party was still on!)
The second Sula fest had more promising things, (Agnee, Dj Jaleebi Cartel, Shair n Func for a repeat performance) but Rain played spoilt sport the gig was left to the DJ playing Music from indoors, the bands dint get a chance to perform.

Sula is the place to take guests to show what Nasik is. Gone are the days when we took guests to show RAMKUND, TRIMBAK, SHIRDI or PHALKE SMARAK to show them things around Nasik. I mewan Ramkund n other hole places are a given man. Making your guests visit unkept, unmaintained holy places are a passé now. If you gotta impress your guests Sula is the place man.

It’s a simple sober place. Not too much of Glitter n Glam but pure CLASS! No hyper interiors, no loud distracting music, no inhospitable waiters. Classy interiors, completely mesmerizing Natural surroundings, awesome ambience; the entire feel gives you the high, the Wine adds on!
The sudden Love for Sula today is because of their organizing of the famous ‘Class of 84’ play today. I mean honestly the play was nice but can-do-better types. But the ambience of the entire show was so dramatic that the drama literally took second stage. I mean even if an Ekta Kapoor serial is telecasted in that ambience it would feel so serene, classy n meaningful!

I’ve taken most my friends visiting from elsewhere to Sula. All of them now envy me because I have so easy access to Sula. Given a chance they would like to frequent the place. Most of them are planning repeat trips to Nasik, to visit Sula! There you are. We now have a reason why people would like to frequent Nasik. Not for Narayan Nagbali or Shirdi. Purely for the fun they had at Sula!
Sula is the best marketing campaign Nasik has ever had to promote itself as a livable n loveable place. I think the politicians should concentrate on this aspect!
So here is thanking Sula (kudos to Rajeev Samant n team) Keep it up guys. Keep up the good work. The fests , dramas! You know we will be there to support you! Cheers!!
