People were proud about his success.
He had dreams.
People had dreams about him.
But I regret that he had to leave us half way through.

It’s a shameful act to discontinue the DAILY.
I am angry because I followed it right from its birth. From the ‘toddler’ one day a week to ‘kiddo’ twice a week slowly catching up the manhood & becoming a strong handsome DAILY.
But one fine day. Someone just shot at it. And Killed it. Just cold bloodily killed it!
I am angry because I loved it. Because I followed it. Because I supported it. Because I promoted it. Because I stood by it.
I don’t see any logical reason to discontinue the DAILY. No recession. No slowdown.
I don’t think the slowdown is affecting media in such a bad way that their regular schedules have to be discontinued.
There is no reason for discontinuing a fairly successful publication.
With this NT lost all the charm it had. All the popularity it had. All the reputation it had earned over the decades.
I think this is clear non performance that has lead to this stage.
This discontinuation is like a spit on the face of the readers.
Nasik was proud to have an English DAILY devoted to itself! But its shameful to see readers being treated like hordes of masses with no choice & accepting the things that are thrown at them.
So now we have NT coming to our doorstep only thrice a week. Why? Just like that? Doesn’t anyone feel the need to apologies? To confront advertisers & readers. To come out & say "I am sorry but I had to kill the DAILY. I Will try & bring it back to life soon."
Nah you just go shamelessly & discontinue it without thinking about any answers to be given!
Oh. Someone might say, “Its not all that bad you know. It will again be a DAILY as soon as we see more moolah coming in!” Wow…! I like that.
If the business is so down & under then what about the 6 page - 8 page editions that used to come out? I don’t remember the rates being slashed then, because the business was too much. “We are a 4 page paper & can’t take the burden of revenue from 8 or 10 pages. Sorry, take your money back.” I did never see that why?
I am sorry to hurt anyone’s feelings if I have.
But. I am hurt worse So……………………

hey just happened to visit your profile and saw you blog. This was the first one and found the subject interesting. could you find out more on the reasons why they changed the daily since it affected you so much. Just found it interesting what would be the cause and reasons "whatsoever" political-personal-social- economical or anything and might lead upto an intersting story discovery :). keep up the good work.
